so, now that the binders are off, here's the news.
Steve (magicbox) and Lauren (Laurhead) are getting MARRIED!!
(thats my brother for those who dont know). Crazy shit huh?
He asked her on the weekend, at a picturesque hotel in romantic Montreal. The ring has diamonds and sapphires and is elegant yet utilitarian, and very tasteful. I believe she was chastising him about going to all the expense of getting a crazy nice suite for no apparent reason when he dropped to one knee. :)
So there ya go. Secret's out. It won't be for a while obviously, since they have to work out a few things. She's still doing her masters in Halifax, and he lives here, and that probably wont change for any time soon. So itll probably be a few years at least. But its still really cool!
