moving out in less than a week!

Yesterday I got to go to Dyersburg to see my grandparents and great Aunt! On the way there the roads were horrible. In Millington ice covered the main roads. But my father and brother made the trip fun, by picking on me. My dad pulls a phone bill out and starts picking on me for haveing 635 phone calls in 1 month. "Who the hell do you call?" "Do you know that many people?" "who do you know in Michigan?" Jeremy starts going through the 12 pages and calling out times. "7:09, 7:20, 7:38, 8:00, 8:29..."damn Heather it goes on like that until 3 in the morning" my dad asks "were you drunk?" "...maybe" then my brother says "i have to respect this i can't find this kind of time in the day.... look here you get off the phone and a minute later exactly you get back on.. with the same person!!!!" So i like to talk on the phone a lot, i could have worse habits! Glad that was over though.
So my dad sneaks up behind my Papa and Papa says "What the hell are you doing here?" THen he stands up looks at Jeremy and me. Then starts complimenting me... like usual. Then a pause... the question he has asked for the past 9 years or so is next... "You have a boyfriend?" WHen i say not now Papa his usual response follows... "whats wrong with those boys in east Tennessee?" Jeremy laughs and he looks at him and does the same. Thats one thing I can count on everytime i go and visit them. We have a good visit it was short but i was happy to see them for the first time in a year. I hope i can come back sometime soon.
We get back at 7 or so and my dads friend Chuck came over for a few minutes. They start talking alchol and i get quiet. Jeremy mentioned Gentlmen Jack and i just mentioned that i saw the proccess of making it. Chuck looks at me and says "what do you drink?" i dont say anything and he responds "we are all adults here..." "moonshine, beer, vodka." "damn, she would fit in well" Granted my dad knows what i do but it was weird telling him to his face i like certain kinds of alcohol. And we are going to go to a party the day before we leave. haha.
This is turning out to be relaxing and lots of fun. We may go to visit Ole Miss tomorrow and Memphis will be in the cards in a few days i am sure. Mississippi is not as bad as i thought... but damn close. lol.
have a great day!!!
