OMG the most awsome experience
Okay, last night I went to the Vampire Ball at the Glas Kat in SF!!!! It was sooo much fun, you have no idea! The main floor was a ballroom and people were ballroom dancing!!!! I learned to waltz, and I danced with a bunch of people! It was so amazing! Everyone was in like 18th and 19th century attire, gracfully gliding across the floor. There was classical music being played even.... traditional waltz. I mean I thought this was just stiff you only saw in music but i saw it first hand. It seemed like one giant dream..... being lead across the floor in memorizing circles getting lost in the music, being in my 19th century burgandy ballgown... I felt so alive. They also played other music... some celtic music was played and Claudia (Kevin's friend who I went with) were polkaing around the floor. Yeah, it was just flat out surreal!!!! I'd do it again.... I want to seriously learn to ballroom dance better. I want to become good at it. Watching people just gliding across the floor... you have no idea who happy it made me to watch. Also, to actually get to dance! Complete stangers, but complete gentelman. A guy holds his hand out and whisks you onto the floor. No introductions all in silence... one dance... a bow/ or curtsy in my case and be led back to me seat. This was a place where everyone seeemed so unique so much personality.... no one cared what anyone else did... they just wanted to be in their zone and dance. It made me so happy.... I think few can understand my love for ballroom dancing. If you've seen my room you know I'm obsessed. I'm still just taken away by the scene of the whole thing. I few I could of had more people to experience it with. If it happens again... I'm so inviting more people. Claudia know what we experienced and I haven't had to much fun in a long time. It was like a dream come true, and I was this amazing ball..... just flat out amazing.... when I say Vampire Ball people got kinda freaked out, but no one was scary everyone was just having a good time. so yeah, other than that last night my wallet was also stolen and that really sucks, but I just have to cancel cards and that's it... it sucks yes, but beside that fact. I really enjoyed myself.
