Prom, prom, prom
so i guess since a lot of you are talking about how your prom went , i'll tell you about mine. of course you might be going "but caroline, you are a junior in college, you went to prom?" welllllllllll, my friends, WWU has a lil thing called THEATRE PROM and it is the best thing EVER! i had soooooooooooo much fun last night, i am still recovering.
So i did have ashow last night too, but show satrted at 6:30 so everyone could have time to get ready and then go to prom. So immediately after the last bow, we hurriedly cleaned up and then got dressed in our cute lil prom outfits. I wore a light pink christian dior dress (think audrey hepburn) with black lace gloves and a black crinoline underneath. Luckily since i had just done a show, my hair and makeup were basically done! so we then sped off to the event. One of the good things about theatre people, they like to dress up and have fun with it. The theme was masquerade and everyone had their own spin on their masks. of course, no one really wore theirs all night. THere was a bar and some people took full advantage of it. They were fun to watch. We had awards for best season show, actor, actress, director etc. and then senior awards (hilarious!) a review of all the season shows (again, hilarious!). But the main thing was the dancing. oh my gooooooooodness was there dancing! I am sooooo tired today because of the dancing. I met some theatre people (kinda late to be meeting them, but oh well.) and had a lot of fun with my girls crystal and mel. (we are so gonna be the hotttttest house next year...)
so i didn't get home until 3 this morning. I woke up at 11 and took a shower, put curlers in my hair and then took a nap.
But, yeah. THEARE PROM RULES!!!

oh and can i just say that Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" is the greatest song to play at a theatre prom because EVERYONE totally acts it out and sings their heart out to it. one of the greatest moments...that will be a good memory.
