Any time an OTP of mine is mixed with Jane Austen, I'm bound to love it. ^.^

Oh, man, it this was really, really good.

Yay for Chad liking Persuasion, which is actually my favorite Austen book.

The 2005 adaptation of P&P (as much as I love Keira Knightley) makes me cringe. I really dislike the constant giggling and a few of the scenes that just kind of pull me out of the movie (like when Lizzy shows up at Netherfield with her hair down, or that *horrible* ending scene. ack). I thought I'd like Keira as Elizabeth, but, eh. Not really. I did like Matthew Macfadyen as Darcy, though.

I guess if you own two miniseries versions, a condensed movie version isn't going to cut it. XD

I flailed when you mentioned Brave New World. I wanted to read that for English this year, but I chose Wuthering Heights instead (since I liked Jane Eyre and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall so much)... and I hated Wuthering Heights... so, yeah, I'm kind of bitter that I didn't read Brave New World. :-(

And when they stopped dancing and Ryan’s hands skimmed up his sides and Chad rested his palms against Ryan’s chest, that felt right, too. And as their lips touched, softly at first, and then harder, Chad couldn’t help but wonder why Austen wouldn’t want to include any of this in her novels.

Loved this part so much! ♥

Also, was Troy aware that Chad and Ryan were dating?
