(no subject)
This was the most perfect and wonderful weekend I've had this year. After class I got to speak to my lovely and I was SO wonderful to hear her voice. Friday night Amelia picked me up and we went to a birthday party at her boyfriend's house. There were tons of people there and I probably met half of them. New people gave me a ride home, and hopefully I will see them again some time soon because they are nice. So I got back home at 2 but was still kicking so I decided to see what Nate and Co at the end of the hall were up to. As I passed Aaron's door I heard his roommates RJ and Jesse chilling and thought, hey I should ask them if they want to smoke a bowl! and then said no and passed their room. But, upon rounding the corner back to my apartment after not receiving an answer to my knock at Nate's, I discovered RJ an Jesse about to knock on my door. And lo, what did they want to do but see if I wanted to smoke a bowl. It was destiny. And destiny turned out to be one of the funniest nights. We laughed at everything and made completely epic nachos and drank chocolate milk. And I've finally found some people who will go see scary movies with me. We actually started freaking each other out and then this weird guy who lives next door to me randomly heard us and came to hang out. Except that he was really drunk and incredibly rude and when he finally left to go get another beer, we didn't let him back in. It actually was freaky though, because he could hear us laughing at him banging on the door and then we thought he was going to kill us. But it was hilarious. But seriously, this guy introduces himself as Sam-I-Am. What? Yeah.
Then, yesterday I woke up and went hiking at 11 with Jen and Tyler. We went up to the gorgeous Flatirons and found the Sunrise Amphitheater, which is an amazing place. There was major wind in the state of Colorado that day, so there was no pollution and I swear we could see DIA. Naturally, we were enormously hungry, so we came back and ate French Toast and watched Jurassic Park, which is, of course, the best movie on the face of the planet. I took a nap and woke up and smoked again with Julian before dinner and did my Russian email. Jen came back over and we began our night of play. Dustin's Glo party sucked as much as we knew it would, but it was fun while we were there because we got to play of bunch of King's Cup. All of us then left for another party were a lot of...dancing...happened. I wanted to dance with Nate so so bad but never got up the nerve, or whatever. So, whatever. And I realized (again) that I love my friends and living with Phil so much. We are just friggin' hilarious.
Also, I've decided that AJ is pathetic and an asshole but mostly pathetic and, therefore, I'm not sleeping with him ever again. :)
Also, I'm in love with Jack Black's character in The Holiday.
