I'm super happy you enjoyed this! I want to eventually make something for all the fic-masters I like. I'm enjoying your massive work for free, why shouldn't I do something reciprocal?
On the note of FIR, RIB, or in my case, RIR, FIB - I thought long and hard about what colours to make them, and almost didn't either name them or colour it. I knew about the dilema, when I started reading TFwiki. I was tiny in the 80s, so IDW's All Hail Megatron was my big reintroduction to space robots. And in that, Rumble is red. I also read that he was intended to be the red one at first, but it got muddled in the show, so Hasbro just ran with it. My final reason; alliteration is my homeboy. Rumble is red. And that's probably my biggest reason too.
cute! I want I want I want!
This just in: Soundwave may project a manly mech exterior, with little emotion and rigid values, but inside? Inside he just wants to squeal and love tiny things like a school girl.
Is there more?
Kinda. But there's some other stuff first, and then I'm in my last year at school, so that will be eating alot of time. But I'd certainly like to! I have a bunch of ideas.
I plan to stick this up on the meme, when I get to some more light-hearted part of the story and can do a little omake theater. Is that okay?
By all means, I'd be flattered. I'm pleased you liked it well enough to share! I thiiiink I have it as friends only, so I'll have to fix that before you do. And light-hearted is coming again? (probably not soon, but still) Oh hurray!
Ah yes, Rumble is Red. Does make more sense. That might have saved me a headache if I'd known that mnemonic device before I started These Games. (And also, not forgotten Ratbat. Trivial details, and all.)
Ooh, you make me wriggle with anticipation! I can't draw a stick figure, so I have no perspective on how long it takes anyone to draw something what's above; I just have to hope that it's not long and not very difficult either. Nothing gives me a warm glowy feeling like my own custom fanart.
And actually, I've already saved the image itself onto my hard drive (am attempting to form some kind of userpic from it) so I'll probably just post the whole thing itself, if I can. I don't like making people work to click through links and things. If that's alright with you, of course.
And of course there will be light-hearted again. Er, someday. I've got a steep hill to bicycle up, but we're just halfway through the story and I've got a shoebox full of witty jokes for Jazz to throw at unwary Decepticons. No way am I letting them go to waste.
Yup, that's how I do it. Rumble is Red and Frenzy is the colour of Forget-me-nots. And I wouldn't worry about Ratbat. Perhaps, in your continuity, he was never aquired, and that led to eventual autobot defeat through some chaos theory or other.
If you want to learn to draw robits, just practice. Anyone can draw, though some people are naturally more skilled. Its all about exercising that part of your brain.
When I have time to sit down and do it, things like this don't take me longer than a few hours. The problem was, I had no time, at all this summer. I got it done this week as me-time.

Go ahead on both of those, I'm cool with it and trust you. Can't wait to see the userpic. :D Triple flattery! I'm curious as to how you're utilizing it.
