jesus, what a shitty ending

i woke up in a bad way today
my insides are crawling across the floor
like they're trying to escape the fire
but my outsides refuse to budge
everytime i swallow a baseball lodges itself
in my throat
and proceeds to travel slowly
and painfully,
down to my stomach
i can't lift my head cause that
would disturb my neck, which apparently
has stopped returning my calls.
everytime i twist my body some sort of
creature
escapes from my lungs, making
breathing
difficult.

i woke up in a bad way today
because you're all i can think of
and you're not here.
