i had an epiphany
so as much as i hate to admit it, jane austen and i are very, very similar. I hated pride and predjudice because it just took me so damn long, but now that i think about it, we're very much the same.
Jane Austen couldn't be with the man she loved because of society, so she made all of her characters have happy endings.
I can run everyone else's lives, advise them, make them have happy endings, but can't seem to do that for myself. I can advise and comfort and help people all the goddamn day, but i can never do anything to make life happy for me.
