I won't bet attending yet another Junior Leader meeting that is tomorrow since we have a make-up match in McCutchen.
*Troubles bring hope. (part of a verse I was trying to think of off the top of my head)
Steve came to FCA this morning for his last talk of the year. He picked an awesome topic to end the year with. Busyness. His reason for picking busyness was that it is difficult to deal with, and it is especially important to not let a busy lifestyle overpower your relationship with God. It's also kind of neat that in a book I was reading, the character was telling people he didn't have time and it wasn't the right time in his life. His wife told him that there will never be a right time because he is a busy person. It's his lifestyle, and that's just the type of person he is. He wouldn't know what to do if he wasn't busy.
My feelings toward busyness:
Busy- type of person who has to make an effort at certain things or relationships they want in their lives
So much noise around us, it's hard to make alone time with God. Just do it. Make time.
Too busy? Make time. If you really want it, you'll make time.
Noise is frustrating, while silence could be what God wants for a few moments just to tell you something.
Settle down, take a breath, everything will be alright. Set your priorities straight with God at the top of them. Don't take advantage of Him, praise Him for even the smallest blessings.
**It's kind of hard to re-read that since I'm talking to myself about every topic. High school athletes are busy along with other people. So many people have changed, I want my friends back...more outgoing would probably again be the answer to that. I'm somewhat outgoing, but I just feel bad about little things. Fear is unhealthy, I'll try to work on it.
