Wow.....the past two days were definitley an awesome summer experience. Thursday, I got my paycheck, cashed it and went with Zak to get a longboard. We hooked up with Dan and Julien later and boarded around everywhere. After all that I was in Tommy's and ran into Jake A. We were just hanging out and he was talking about stenciling. We got an idea to make some stencils and go tagging. Andy Mac was around too, and Emmy dropped us off at her place to get Jake's bike.
We rode to his house and just came up with ideas for stencils for like a half an hour. after all that we were just like, fuck it, lets freehand. It was really great, we all got bandanas and looked very badass, riding into town. We got some paints and went to Bills, which was PACKED with drunk idiots and was noisy as hell. We later then rode around munjoy and painted various places. We had also had an idea to go dumpster diving, as Jake had had good luck with the EMS one, getting some pretty sweet boots (like $275) for free. So we rode down there but someone had beat us to it. We then found a shopping cart. Hilarity ensued. Then, Andrew got this evil look in his eye. "Skate Park." I then realized we were right across the street from it. We then tooled around it for a while, it was awesome. lesson: Don't take shopping carts down the half-pipe.
We split up for a bit, Jake and I were meeting andy at the Wall in the east prom. We stopped at the 7-11 for some munchies and got kinda lost, then we trekked through the woods and finally found it. It was really cool, there were all sorts of murals on it. We tagged a couple of the less cool ones and ate. It was drizzling a bit, and then we walked back to Jake's. We were dead tired. It took a while. We all kept passing out, since it was like 8 oclock. We all got breakfast at a diner and were mad sleep-deprived. EVERYTHING seemed really hilarious. It was really weird. Everything. Then we slept and me and jake got some food at wild oats, picniced in the trippy tree, and went intown. Overall, it was really great.
I just want to tell you, our pancakes are really fucking big. They're as big as that kid's head.
