Today was a great day, the best I've had in months. I think I've finally broken out of my (excessively

long) practicing slump, which has lasted since at least '05. I ate healthy food, which always makes

me feel a lot better. I had a great time in aikido, really getting into it, I think I'm going ot

start going three times a week(also been in aa slump in that too), I've been reading more,

computering less,

less horny, less tired, less angry. I also think I've reached a workable way to deal with my sister,

who has gotten so unbearable I just can't talk to her at all anymore.

I also went to this event at USM representin' seeds of peace in which we got to hear a story of

a man I'm sure many of you have heard of. His name is Paul Rusesabaginato. He is the man in the movie

Hotel Rwanda. Not the actor people, the actual person who inspired the story. He gave his account of

what happened, and his hopes for the future. Truely an inspiring man and speech, he is a modern hero.

People, he singlehandedly saved the lives of more than 1200 who would have probably been decapitated

or disembolwed by the machete-bearing rebels in Rwanda. He claims he is but an ordinary man in

extraordinary circumstances, but I believe otherwise. Great Day!

p.s. talked to roberta, there will be no second bus to D.C., sorry, I really wanted to go. That

sucks. Cheer up people, we may just have a samurai movie marathon at my place instead. YES!
