15 more days until winter break...
Thanksgiving was good fun. I went to Matt's aunt's house for food. We had turkey around lunch time, then the boys watched football and I played games with his aunts and cousins. After dessert (a few hours later....had to let the dinner digest!) we went to the hospital to see his grandma who was spending her Turkey Day in the ER. We visited for awhile then came over to my house. I got some of my mom's yummy pumpkin pie and we watched Survivor and ER. All in all, a pretty good Thanksgiving. :-)
Friday brought on shopping!!! Matt and I were in the Best Buy parking lot at 4am! Yes, we're crazy. After a quick shopping trip there (in and out in about 20 minutes!) we headed over to Ridgedale for more Christmas shopping. We went to breakfast and then headed home for sleep. :-) I got some good deals and I now have presents for my mom, dad and brother. I know what I'm getting my sister and matt, I just haven't bought it yet. I just have to call my aunt to figure out what to get my cousin and I have to get my grandmas something. Then I'm done! I'm not used to being this on top of things...I usually go out the week before x-mas and get everything.
Only 11 days until our 1 year anniversary! Yea! :-) I'm very excited for that and for spending the holidays together this year. We did our own things for Christmas last year (since it was 15 days after our 1st date!) and I just can't wait for all the fun. :-)
School has been crazy this week. Some of my students are really starting to piss me off. They are acting very immature and totally disrespectful. Hopefully the rest of the week will be better. Only 15 more school days until winter break! (118 school days until Summer!!!!)
Well, I think that's about it for now. No big plans for the weekend yet, just teaching Sunday School. Catch ya later!
