Ripon fun...
This weekend I took a prospective student, Rachael, to Ripon for a visit. It was a lot of fun! This weekend was homecoming (unbeknownst to me) so there were lots of people I knew on campus. The weather was gorgeous and Sandy was a super great hostess. :-)
Rachael and I went on a tour of campus when we got there on Friday morning. It was fun to see all the changes...they're building a new dorm!! After the tour was lunch in the commons then off to a physics class. After class we got to meet Al Jareau, who was on campus for a concert, then we met with Adam about theatre. After that, it was time to just hang out around town/campus. When Sandy was done with work, we headed off to Roadhouse to eat some very yummy pizza. :-) Then we had Chick Flick night (with an actual chick flick...When Harry Met Sally). We went to Scott Hall for a little bit, but since Rachael and I had been up since 5am, we headed back to J-Hall for some sleep. Saturday was brunch at the commons, then a little drive around town before heading home. It was a great trip.
This week is super busy for me. Tonight I have a Raspberry Board Mtg (we have elections tonight). Tomorrow is bowling, Wed. is my haircut, and Thurs is conferences. I am NOT looking forward to being at school from 6:45am - 8:30pm on Thursday (and next Tuesday!). MEA weekend is next week....4 day weekend - woot!!! :-)
