Road Construction...
My bowling team is the 2nd half champs. We didn't have a roll off, so I will be getting one of the league champ pins (woo-hoo). ;-p
In other news, the boy is sick. :-( He got strep throat, which somehow I didn't catch from him (knock on wood!). But, since he's sick , I haven't seen him all week which bums me out. Oh well, c'est la vie.
I'm very excited for tonight. I'm going up to Jayme's house for girl's night. She's making dinner and then a big group of us (I think it's up to about 10 for sure, with a couple more maybes) are going to the bar to see this band we like, High Noon. It will be lots of fun! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the drive up to Anoka. Highway 169 North is down to one lane, north of Highway 55, with I-494 being the detour. However, this weekend 494 is closed IN BOTH DIRECTIONS from the Crosstown (Cnty Rd 62) to 394. YUCK!!!! Of course all this happens the weekend I have to drive all over the west metro. You just gotta love road construction season!
Tomorrow I'll finally get to hang out with Matt. We might go walking on the trails around his place. Otherwise, we'll just watch some movies. Tomorrow night we're going out to dinner with his parents to celebrate his b-day (which is on Sun). On Sun, we're going to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre for that Ripon Alumni event. It should be a good time.
Well, I should go get ready to sit in traffic for a long time. (woo-hoo) Have a great weekend! :-)
