So, here comes yet another round of changes.
Justin's joining the Navy. We're doing it for a lot of reasons, but the main one is because of our finances. We just don't make enough to pay all of our bills, and there is no logical way to eliminate anything. Even if we sold the house, we'd have to rent an apartment, and that would probably only save us like $100 a month cuz apartments are expensive too. Unless it's a dump or in the ghetto. No thanks to both. He's on his way down to Lansing at this very moment to sign all of the official paperwork. It's super scary and exciting all at the same time. After he's done with Basic Training we'll be moving to South Carolina for at least 1.5 years so that he can do his schooling. I'm actually kind of excited to live in a "summer state." Maybe I'll get tan :) Haha, yeah right. There's a lot of pro's along with this decision, and also a few con's...but hopefully everything will work out for us.
Here's the biggest sucky part : We have to get rid of Kaya. It's not fair for her to have to move around with us, and Husky's just aren't meant to live in 90* weather year-round. We're going to ask Justin's parents this weekend if they'll take her. Hopefully they'll say yes, because it's really REALLY important that we know she will be in a good home. So...anyone who reads this, would you like a dog? Or do you know a stable house that would like her? She's free, we could never charge anyone for her, but I absolutely need to know that it is a good home. If you wouldn't give your children to this person, then they can't have her. She's so incredibly loving and trusting and awesome with kids...oh goodness, I'm going to cry. Moral of the story is, I feel like part of me is dying inside, knowing that in a few months she won't be our daughter anymore. *sigh* The least I can do for her is make sure that she will be loved.
Meh. :(
