Broken Computer...
So Lindsay's computer is not working and neither is her AOL so she has no Internet connection at her house, which results in no updates of her LJ. Therefore, as her best friend, I was told to update for her.
So Lindsay has been babysitting for Lizzie and Andy all summer... she starts work at 7am every morning - isn't that insane!?!? She likes it though, keeps her out of trouble. Lindsay, a few weeks ago, also had her first adventure to the club - those were interesting stories, let me tell you! That's OK because the weekend I turn 18, she's taking me to the club in Grand Rapids! yay! Lindsay had her graduation party on June 24. There were a ton of people there, some of her awesome friends that I got to meet - some cute ones too! - all of her familly was there from out of town, she had to spend the whole weekend with her family. She got lots of cool gifts, and tons of money! But unfortunately for her, she has to put all that money towards college.
This past weekend Lindsay missed the Brad Paisley concert to come to my house on Friday for my graduation party. (that's okay - the lucky girl got to MEET Brad). She got to meet all of my friends, and my wonderful family. My friend Fred didn't leave until 3:00 a.m. so we went to bed around 4:00. Yesterday we went to Lansing for the 2005-2006 SAB Interviews. They were okay, very very long though, and a long drive because we ended up getting lost! Then we came back to my house and went to the movies with Fred, Mark, and Courtney, and we saw Fantastic 4, which we both LOVED! It was so funny - hey Linds - Does he have super powers?? lol. Then we came home and went swimming and watched Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. Then it was like 2:00a.m. and we went to sleep. This morning her mom and sister came and picked her up (her sister had a tournament down in Canton - which isn't too far from my house) and she isn't even home yet!
On Friday Lindsay is going to Mackinac Island with me! We are driving up on Friday and then coming home Monday night. And lucky me - I get to drive! For my graduation present her family got me a vacation package with tours, carriage rides, and lunch at the Grand Hotel. On Saturday and Sunday we are staying at the Murray Hotel on the island! I'm so excited - it will be lots of fun!
Oh as for college - Lindsay made her schedule at Aquinas and lucky her she gets Wednesdays off -no classes on Wednesday! She moves in the third week of August - I think.
