Spring Break...so far
Well, I must say that this break is going just wonderful! Friday evening the Disney birthday extravaganza was great. Whitney and I got out there early to check in to the hotel, then we walked around Downtown Disney. Everyone else arrived and we went out to dinner. Yum...Ohana's in the Polynesian resort, amazing! Saturday Vicky, Jenny and I drove back and then the shower madness began. Vicky and I went over to Tanya's to get set up for the...'bridal' shower for Jenny. It was so much fun! Just girls being girls. Good times that's for sure. And I think that Kelly (Jenny's future sister-in-law) actually managed to embarrass her. Sunday, church. Pastor Anthony was away, so the man who used to be our pastor did the sermon. Very good, but I will be glad to get pastor back. A group of us from college group went to Bennigan's to eat for lunch. They just crack me up, the boys were doing all their movie quotes.
Sunday evening I went to service, and then hung out with Andy some.
Today Jenny, Tanya, Vicky and I headed out to the beach. It was marvelous! It was pretty crowded, but we managed to find a spot to sun for a couple hours. We ate at Wendy's then headed to Fashion Square mall for a secret mission. Then I came home and relaxed a bit, had dinner with the fam, and had a lovely conversation with Andy. Tomorrow I think that Whitney and I are going to go walking on the trail at Blanchard park, and Vicky could possibly join us. Then I am going to dinner with Andy and helping him address support letters for his trip to Italy. Fun times.
So yeah, that is pretty much the start to my spring break. I am very pleased and having a wonderful time so far. I believe that sleeping in tomorrow is a must, and after that the fun begins again! I hope that all of ya'll who are on spring break are having a good one!!
