I Love Israel.

So this weekend was actually pretty cool. A lot more fun than I expected.

Saturday: Went to Am...we were invited to the rabbi's for lunch, so after shul, up the stairs we went...It was actually a lot better/more fun/more interesting than I expected, so that was cool. The food was also better than the last time I was there.woot.So then we walked home and I slept/read the rest of the day.Shabbat is getting out so late now, so saturday nights have gotten even shorter.

Sunday: Went to Mira's at 12. We were going to walk in the teen walk through Israel together, but at the height of their stupidity, Maccabi scheduled a dance practice at the same time as the walk, so mira had to go to that....I ended up walking with Rachel,Josh,Sam H,and some other kid...It was like total RMSC representation there..
The walk was more organized and more fun than I expected.Saw/talked to a lot of people I know...like:Yoel,Sam,Matt,Melissa,Abby,Abby's mom,Karlee,Danny,Dara, other people...
At the end they had all these tables of groups who have like programs in Israel.NCSY,BBYO,NFTY,Young Judea,Alexander Muss HS,JYPY,JET,and some other places had tables.USY didn't.I got some cool material for some programs including the new religious Young Judea Year Course, which i totally only heard about last week.I also ended up talking to some random lady about some program,Nesiyah. She went on about how its pluralistic and they have kids ranging from orthodox to secular. So I asked her if you have orthodox kids then is the program shabbat observant and what not , so she went on about how it is, but everyone can do their own thing. She totally thought I'm not observant, so she was trying to make it sound like its not observant, whatever. It was a fun conversation.
I got an amazing free poster of Israel. It's awesome.
I restrained myself from talking to the NCSYers and B'nai Akivers...but I really wanted to.oh well.So yeah,it was pretty good.Fun.
Now I have to start my homework.
