(no subject)
wow, yet again i have fallen behind in updating my lj. *sigh* i suppose i dont update because there is never anything interesting to say.
states went pretty well. i dropped time in all of my events. there are three bad things though that happened at state: 1) on saturday, sms made 9th in every consolation. we just missed being in the A heat (top 8) and getting a medal. 2) i missed my southeastern (really big swim meet the second weekend of spring break in nashville) cut time by .06 seconds. frustrating!! luckily, i still have one more meet to make it. 3) miranda got really sick and found out on sunday that she had a sinus infection/strep combo. therefore, the entire sms state team, mrs harrington, mrs coleman, and mrs harrington's son jake will probably be sick with strep or worse before the week is out. miranda is back today, but margarett was told yesterday that she has strep and is home sick today. now i'm starting to get a sore throat. my dad told me last night that i have the early signs of strep. great.
i have written my governor's cabinet proposal, and let me say that it is pretty awesome although it is a little boring. i am reforming a welfare program in tn! get excited! *sigh* yeah, it was like impossible to understand so we will see if anyone gets it.
i cant wait until spring break! i have one, hopefully two, swim meets, my birthday is one the 11th, we dont have school, and i will get to spend time with all of my friends! yay for no school!
yesterday i realized that, for the first time since i think the first weekend in january, i dont have anything this weekend. no swim meets, no trips, no youth leg meetings, nothing. well actually scratch that, it's purim but i dont think i am going to go. but still, my weekend is pretty empty. it's strange, very, very strange and very, very welcome. just gotta get through the rest of the week.
