please help me. im going nuts. tell me anything you know about either college. i like how i dont even like either of the colleges im gonna go to, just lovely.
i know people that go to both schools and i've actually visited them at both. here's what i see.
LOYOLA: lots of preppy white people, but a really smart school. on top of that it's small, so there's not a big time commitment walking to classes, and i think class sizes are pretty small. plus, you have chicago right there so if you need to get off campus and do stuff, the el stop is right there. i think that unlike madison there's more of a variation in what you can do like different shows downtown and shopping and whatnot. not a big sports school since i think it's division II.
MADISON: very big school, one of the biggest i've heard of. this means lots of people and lots of time devoted to walking to class, depending on where your classes are. however, more cultural diversity (alhtough that's not a very big percent at any college you go to). also, with madison you'll already know people there when you go which can be a plus or minus depending on how that plays out. big sports school. big party school, but i don't hear that there's much to do in madison apart from the university.
i think what it depends on is what you want your major to be. wherever you go, you'll find a group of friends.
