My first week of "taking over" part of my internship has been going well so far. We are making it like the first day of school, which is great. I started them on Interactive Notebooks, a creative way of organizing notes. They write a journal entry everyday and take notes and practice a new skill or social studies knowledge in it everyday.
Classroom management...I rearranged the room, established a new code of conduct, and picked up on everytime they are testing me. Now that it is Wednesday, they are beginning to stop testing me. This is the second day and yesterday they had a test actually so kinda the first day for a lot of them.

I took it when I took my computer to school to put the promethean software on my comptuer so I could do work on it. I was trying to see if any cool mac apps (ie photobooth) worked in a neat way with that software. Couldn't figure out if the photobooth can do extra cool stuff without plugging it into the smart board.
But I think I like it because it is a neat, tech, modern school in the background with sephia tones, and the look on my face. It will be neat to look back later.
ps I miss getting comments...I am so busy now that I do not get to see a lot of my friends, I read and comment on friends journals every night and stay in touch with them and go crazy with happiness when I get comments back...I like staying in touch with my journal and have made attempts to make my journal shorter/more organized so it is skimmable.
