MiD sUmMeR cLaSsiC (this ones good)
Man, im so dead. Just got back from an ALL day soccer tournament thing. We played against a U19 team, and our team is U16. such a deference in skill level. You know the best part; well the first game we won (1-0) and the second game we were really the better team, but they just had two really lucky goals and we lost (2-1). But no one was disappointed since we were playing a U19 team.
And last night, I went to the coolest party ever!! Mid-summer classic, and it was only for us lifeguards that work at Cal High. It was alot of fun, and there were lots of competitions. There was the pie-eating contest, the skit contest, the diving contest, the inner-tube race, overall best costume, and overall spirit.
There are a bunch of different teams were all the team compete against eachother to win the golden shelback which is a golden turtle statue thing. Every year there is a theme for the party. This year it was super heros/villans. People were dressed up as power rangers, people from goldmember, and a bunch of other stuff. Our team's costumes were awesome. I know you've probably never heard of Aquaman, but that's what we were. We wore green tights, a black speedo over that, an orange long sleeve shirt, and a yellow band around our waists. Our costumes were the best and everyone was matching. We tied for first for best costumes, we won the tube race. We also won the skit, and diving contest. The diving contest is a whole different story.
Diving contest- Haha this is funny. I dunno, maybe you had to be there. So there were two different dives to do, off the HIGH dive. A dive for pain, and a creativity dive. Cameron (a guy on my team) did the dive for pain. Full on belly flop. And it wasnt one of those belly flops were you kinda curl in. Those dont hurt at all. It was right smuck on his stomach. Yea one kid went all out and hit the lane line. That must have been really painful!! So next comes the creativity dive. I did this one. Remember, this was off the high dive. So I went up, jumped, tucked and cruled up into a little ball, and didnt come out of my tuck till I hit the water. I landed smack on my face, and it was numb for at least two hours. But it was really cool, because everyone came up to me after and told me stuff like, that was a really cool dive, or I didnt know you dove (which I dont). I was the only girl that participated in this contest, so I was proud of myself!!
Yea, but guess how overall won mid-summer classic?? the AQUAMANS!!! Yea my team won!! And we get to decorate the shell back turtle. I cant wait for Mid summer next year!!
