The good old concert season is well along and last night it included one of our friends making his Carnegie recital hall debut. Marcel and my wife teach piano at our local conservatory. Marcel is a great American story of how people from humble beginnings who have a passion for something in life can achieve. The seventeen degree weather didn't stop the audience from turning out and there wasn't a seat left in the house. Naturally the blistering performance ended with a standing O. We couldn't be more happy for him.
After Marcel finished greeting/signing autographs for the audience we spilled out of Carnegie hall into a great Thai resturant completing a perfect evening.
