ramblings

So I never did an update about spring break. And now that I am, it probably won't be very long.

This spring break, for the first time ever, was actually a spring break. Confusing, I know. Usually I just go home and sit around on my ass for a week. Instead of doing that this year, Lisa, Kellyn, and I hopped in a car and sat on our asses for a few days. We drove to Chicago, which actually wasn't so bad. We did about 3 hour shifts, so the driving itself wasn't even that bad. I really had a lot of fun. We stayed with Sarah for two days and then drove back to the Bronx. That was Wednesday, so Thursday Kellyn and I went to her house for the rest of break. Nothing too eventful there except for a party we went to at her friend Mason's. But it was still fun. But this break was my first actual road trip without my or other parents being in the car! Yay!

Anyway, on to the more recent past and the present. All week I've been practicing for Broadway Bombs, the show I'm in this weekend. And we aren't bad, but it isnt' great either. I think the thing is that it hasn't really been that fun, so no one is inclined to have as much fun with it. Hopefully tonight (the first show) the audience will get into it. That always makes a show better.

There is also a Domily party tonight, which I am looking forward to. The last one was on my birthday. So it's been awhile.
I'll be there in my whore makeup from broadway bombs.

Oh, that reminds me. After rehersal last night, Jess and I walked down to dunkin doughnuts to grab something to drink. Since we had just come from rehersal we both had lots of makeup on, but we were wearing pants and jackets. Some guys drove past and slowed down and yelled "How much ladies?" out the window.
That made me kinda mad, and I yelled "Fuck you!" Which I realized was the first time that I've yelled that at someone...
Why do guys think it's alright to do that? I don't understand.

Anyway, to end on a happy note: IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!! AND I SAW BECKY!!!!!!
