the world is a joke when out of love
yes indeed, the new incubus cd is insanely good. as is the new dmb live at the gorge cds/dvd - disc one is musical genius.
another successful week to add to the Best Summer Ever 2004 :
last weekend - went up to the cottage, just relaxed up at the lake, ate good food, and hung out with my 2nd family.
monday - returned home, and played some Cartag. victory lap for the smart car!
tuesday - ran four miles, walked four miles, played tennis for 2+ hours, took a nap, didn't go to work, went wakeboarding (which was bitchin), and ordered a battery for my phone which cost 30 dollars less than i thought it was going to. so basically, tuesday was like the greatest day of my life.
wednesday - recovery day.
wednesday night - went to abby's sister's house and had a little get together. we played "circle of death" or as i like to call it "ring of fire". its a fun game, even though i had my doubts. i got in a fight with julie but it lasted about thirty seconds of drunk yelling on my part. then everyone else crashed, but me and abby stayed up until 6 a.m. just talking on the back porch.
thursday - well, i woke up an hour late - i was supposed to get up at 7, but i was kinda passed out. so then i babysat til noon, although all i did was sleep on the couch lol and the kids played like video games. then i played some hungover tennis with todd(bad idea) and broke a string (thank you todd).
thursday night - BUFFETT! it was sooooo much fun, it was like the most fun i've ever had at a concert ever - until i got separated from the rest of my group. so there was like, a bad hour in there. but other than that it was a blast.
friday - played some tennis, and saw Anchorman - which is the most random, hilarious movie ever. but guess who happened to sit in front of us? yes, brandon. it made me sad. why can't he call me?
saturday - played tennis, saw King Arthur, and played some more tennis.
so yes, this was another successful week.
