I gotta know when to (not) throw in my two cents. My two cents here is worth less than two yens, after all. Have you ever held a one-yen coin? They flimsy as hell! They can barely gather dirt or grime, there's so little weight to them, financial or physical.
Anyway, to complete the comparison: for whatever reason, today I felt like 1¥s were pouring out of my mouth, landing on the occasional forehead, but ultimately they just settled in a pile of classroom dust--to be swept up at the end of the school day, panned, and tossed.
