I guess it is true when they say that life is a mystery. I don't understand how such good people have to go through so much tragedy and pain. It really isn't fair. It is such a reality check to hear about these things and make me sick to my stomach to see a family who is usually so happy and energetic, so sad and numb. It is heart aching to hear that he will never be able to graduate, go to college, have a senior year, have a college roommate, etc. Everything which most people, including myself, take advantage of on an everyday basis. It is disgusting how good, genuine people are taken, leaving behind so much. It is a reminder to live life to the fullest. Not to take advantage of ANYTHING. But it also makes you wonder, if this young boy and his family members are such good people and this tragic loss can happen to then, how is there any hope for anyone? It makes you think that there is no way you can make your life longer by being a good person. There is no karma. It's disgusting.
