"Hi hon, we were in the hurricane down here in texas, and our dish came off the roof."
"Im sorry to hear that ma'am, i'd be more than happy to get you to our customer service department to get that remounted for you."
"Hang on hon, my husband has the tv too loud" (i thought it was the radio)
"Ma'am? Are you still getting service?"
"Sure is."
"Wow. well dont move that dish where its laying... it will be some time before a technician can come to your home to remount it. if you dont move the dish you may still have your services for that time." (on occasion, the dish will land just right and still be pointed to the orbital)
"Oh, we already brought it in the home"
*blinks* "Uhm ma'am, can you check your roof to make sure thats YOUR dish?"
"It was in our yard, but ok" (yells at hubby to go check the roof)
"Hon, i'm sorry, our dish is still on the roof. I'm gonna put this one back outside so whoever owns it can pick it up"
"no problem ma'am, go ahead and have them call us to put it back up when they come and get it. thank you for calling directv"
