So, I've just made my final payment on my PC. My current PC is starting to fall over, crashing and various errors etc and I think it's about time to change anyway, I'll pay by installments so won't cost me anymore.
With windows 7 its the perfect timing, but what to get. Dell seem to only do a limited number of Windows 7 PCs, and actually the only ones they have are Alienware. I know that means an extra cost for build quality. here's one I've seen, its an Aurora ALX, but costs £1216.99 or £40/mth. Specs are as follows:-

I've seen one from PC world, an Acer Aspire M7721 for £929.99 as follows:-
- Intel Core i7 920 processor
- (2.66GHz, 8MB Cache)
- Genuine Windows(R) 7 Home Premium
- 6GB DDR3 memory
- 1TB hard drive
- 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 graphics
- DVD Rewriter
- Built-in wireless (802.11b/g/n)
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240 graphics
Any advice or other suggestions? I think £1000ish is what i'm looking for, I don't need a monitor, just the PC itself. I want it to be pretty kick ass and long lasting, but not MESH, I've had issues with them in the past as have friends.
Help appreciated, thanks all :)
