First update in ages
So yes, am still alive.
Am getting unusually excited about LRP again. I've been really go off the hobby, not getting as much out of it as I used to, whether playing or staffing. However, one of my WoW guild (*waves to N ick*) goes to a club system near Cardiff and they're running their first fest system at some Iron Age round houses.
We're taking a bunch of people, 4 of us are LRPers and 5 first timers. Its a small system so a group of 9 will be quite big which should make things interesting. In fact, we so big that the organisers have given us a round house to ourselves which sounds cool.
The system seems cross between a local system and fest system, and looking forward to trying it. We earn XP over the weekend which will be interesting. No idea really what to expect, but since there's a bunch of mates going it should be fun either way. They encourage you to submit your character background and then run personal plot, so intrigued to see how that works.
Oh, did I say? I'm resurrecting Eric Swiftblade (my first LRP character) for the system as I've not played him since he died 10 years ago in LT and would be cool to do so again.
