Allow me to explain. My name is Shinki. This town is called Mayfield. It seems to be a universe unto itself, in that trying to leave brings you back to where it started. We are taken here, effectively imprisoned, and forced to live in these family units. Anything that separates us from what this town considers "normal" have been taken from us until it is decided we can get something back.
