Hello everyone!
Well the Western Pennsylvania Furry Weekend is just weeks away now, taking place October 1-3, 2010 just outside of Pittsburgh, PA.
Thank you to the 65 furs from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, New York, West Virginia, Maryland, Ontario and Pennsylvania who pre-registered for this year's Western PA Furry Weekend! That makes the record books for this event and we all thank you!
For those who missed out on pre-registration, do no fret. You can register at the event for either the Basic or the Supporter level. Registration opens Friday night, Oct. 1, at 6:30pm at the Comfort Inn - Pittsburgh North. Basic registration is $30 at the door, payable by cash only. Supporter registration is $40 at the door, payable by cash only. If you're coming for Saturday only, Registration opens Saturday at Noon at Fireman's Park in Aspinwall. Basic registration is $25 at the door and Supporter registration is $40 at the door. If you pre-registered for the Basic Level, you can upgrade to Supporter as well by paying the difference. Supporter swag for "at the door" registrants is while supplies last.
Another item of note…
Our hotel room block at the Comfort Inn - Pittsburgh North, and our $75.99 group rate expires at the end of the day on Thursday, September 23rd. That's a week away now so if you're scrambling to get a room or find friends for roommates, don't delay. A room at the Comfort Inn puts you right in the middle of Friday and Saturday evening's dances and activities and the jumping off point for Sunday's Field Trips. Reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly for the room block and pricing. Choice Hotels is not set up to offer this rate through their on-line reservation services.
We have our Programming Grid and Event and Activities write ups on the WPAFW website at

So won't you join us for some fellowship and fun in the beautiful, autumn clad Allegheny River valley? The Western Pennsylvania Furry Weekend…celebrating our 10th year…October 1-3, 2010
