So yeah, random thought: Anyone else bothered by these girls that take what could be great costume and ruin them by doing their take on the character in slut-tastic clothes? Fuck a duck man. I just saw a picture of a Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn which would be great since they had their own comic together, and cartoon I think <.<, but they didn't do

*nervous chuckle* I sure hope that wasn't mine you saw... I was REALLY trying to get Harley proper done for Ohayo, but well, life's thrown a LOT at me lately, and I haven't been able to get 'er done yet (TRYING for this weekend at Katsu, but we'll see...)

I don't THINK I was the one you were talking about; I wore black-ish(well, REALLY dark purple) lipstick, put my blue contacts in, and did up a spare blonde wig in little midget pigtails. The only reason I did this was because I found this AWESOME dress at (of all places, and believe you me, I'm still kinda embarassed to admit this) Hot Topic - but it's made up of red and black diamond shapes, and REEALLY looks like something Harley would wear for a night out. My buddy Kayla did a casual Ivy to go with my Harls (but her outfit was themed green and white), since she had the Ivy proper done, and felt bad I wasn't able to get Harls proper done, and we just had a blast with it.

...BUUUUT - all that being said, even with me towing the line and kinda asking for it - I KNOW what you're talking about. My guy does a REALLY fantastic Joker (haha, and yes, I was saying that even before we started dating), and I REEALLY wanted to have something to go along with him. I didn't bother with the white, or even the mask, for that matter, because I felt casual should be casual - and if I want to be a shitty mall-goth, I'd just deck myself up in OLD Hot Topic attire (remember those days, when you could actually find TASTEFUL shit in there?)

Yeah it wasn't you, it's was one of those "I'mma cute little catgirl who does my own take on cosplays" which never really ar cosplays XD lol

Don't feel bad about the dreaded Hot Topic! I used to go there all the time when they had the tasteful stuff, and now that it's mostly crap (Save for my Mad Hatter top hat AWESOME!) I don't really care for it anymore. Which would be fine except the damage is done and my family is convinced that I'm a closet goth who doesn't want to admitt to it and everytime I go to the mall with my mom she makes sure that we stop by Hot Topic because that's my store XD;; Whoops . . . .

Haha, no worries - I just also like to keep myself in line - it's like Estee Lauder, the makeup queen once said, "There are no ugly women...only lazy women..."
