Ohhhh I needed that!
I got to go out to MTP today (c: And I plyed pretty well for myself. I think I went through about 1000 rounds of paint in about 4 hours of playing. It wasn't how I was hoping it would be (there were a TON of newbie's and one little shit of a kid...more on that in a bit). But I met a kid, Wes that has an Ion and looks to be a pretty serious player. I got his number and told him to call me if he wanted to play. I also talked to him about getting a team started somewhere around the Franklin area. I've been passively looking for teams lately since I've pretty much handed in my resignation to DXM. Ryan also called me the other night to say that he's pretty much found my replacement player(s), so that's good news.
Oh! So the little shit kid. OK, so this little 12 yr old brat w/ an autococker thought he was hot stuff, even thoguh he played exactly how he was...scared. The kid was up against just one guy at the end of a match and rather than fighting it out to the end, he copped out and was like, "I surrender!" THEN, he had the nerve to go over to his teamates and chew them out for not moving when he NEVER MOVED from the bunker he originally started at. Another time he was snuck up on fropm behind (dude was like 30 feet away still though) and shot him in the back, then he goes, "THERE'S NO BUNKERING! YOU DO THAT AGAIN I'M GONNA SHOOT YOU! *insert explitives*" I about took him aside and scolded him myself. I should have told Bill, (The owner) "Hey, this little dude is cussing out his friends, and frankly it's getting to me and everyone else here." But if I were allowed to, I'd have taken him out back and whooped his ass for being a little punk. Words can't express how badly I wanted to use a ramped (really fast shooting) shocker and LIGHT HIM UP. Punks like that are what take people away from the sport.
Hehe, then after that I went to get a pizza from a littel deli shop down the road and talked to the cook (female) for about 15 minutes while the pie cooked. It was pretty good and for only about 9 bucks (12" pizza) it was worth it. It was funny b/c she was kinda actin flirty which I took as a compliment Got hit on by a gay guy in Atlanta so a compliment is a compliment to me). Kinda had to shoot her down though cause she was like, "You got a g/f?" And I was like, "Pretty much. I've been seein a girl for a while now." Single guys, back me up on this. When you've got a cute girl you're talking to and she drops the b/f bomb. You do the polite, "Aww, that's sweet." but in your mind you're like, "DANGIT!" Yeah, she definitely pulled one of those.
But YAY! Softball tomorrow! And then 1 1/2 weeks of school, thena week of break before I move into my apt on the 15th. May 25th is my friend Kristi's 21st so I'm going to head out of town for that, and then the 30th I start my co-op!
