Hi!
I'm pretty bored so I'm writing this entry. I think everyone else (who reads this) is letting their LJ die. Should that happen, then this one will too as that is the only reason this thing exists. That means I could end up bothering you on MSN about your life. Really I could, don't think I won't. I'M A DONKEY ON THE EDGE!
Perhaps I'll start a MSN blog thingy if this dies. And then everyone will be compelled to click on the orange star next to my picture. I know this one guy who has some 100 contacts and he made a post where he asked how many people read his blog. 1 comment (not from me) so I laughed. Not really, but I found it funny anyway.
Week was kinda average, though some fun stuff happened, like discussing the definition of a budget stripper and finding out what a Balonenkneifer is. I've also downloaded City of Evil and made myself ignore the whiny vocals a bit. Also found Reuben's 'Keep it to yourself' which is ok. I hope the album Very fast very dangerous features songs that are a tad bit better (more like Blamethrower) otherwise they'll have taken a step back methinks. I've also received a 2 and a half hour drum n bass liveshow from a friend, and that's useful for when I have to study. And I want the new Rush DVD as well as some new posters and shirts. Pfft, like money grows on my back. Whereas infact, it is growing between my toes and gives me papercuts when I collect it.
Yesterday I came home to an empty house because my parents are in France, but since my clothes don't clean themselves (that would be an invention) I still have to travel back and forth. Train sucked because it was full of people, unairconditioned and there was no room to sit. Bus was the same, apart from the room-to-sit-part. Upon coming home I realised I forgot my bottle of Bytex which is preventing me from biting my fingers off... guess I'll find out how strong my will to resist that is. *goes to clip nails instead of chewing them* (...) *returns*
Last night Emily sent me a picture of Tom and Adam which was really funny, so thanks for that.
Hmm, still have to iron my clothes but the iron is leaky and with that, it is leaking rusty water. The quality of stuff in our house is awesome. *throws T-shirt in washing machine* And I short-circuited it somehow (probably got it wet at the bottom somehow) because when I plug it in, the power in the kitchen completely dies. =)
During the week week we also stumbled across answers.com and filled in our names. Peter apparently 'is coming to an end' or 'diminishing slowly'. He is also slang for 'penis'. Martijn is 'a Dutch association for the acceptance of pedophilia.' LMAO
Have some acronyms//explanations:
PIM - Personal Information Manager // Pet form of WILLEM --> Dutch form of WILLIAM --> From the Germanic name Wilhelm, which was composed of the elements wil "will, desire" and helm "helmet, protection".
ADAM - Affordable Desktop Application Manager // This is the Hebrew word for "man". It could be ultimately derived from Hebrew adam meaning "to be red".
DAVE - Dangerous And Very Expensive // Possibly derived from Hebrew dod meaning "beloved".
EMILY - Early Money Is Like Yeast (wtf!) // Emily on Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends is the TV Show's first female steam engine (not counting Lady, since she's from the movie).
AMY - In demonology Amy is a Great President of Hell, who has thirty-six legions of demons under his (her??) command.
I bet everyone thought all that was really exciting... God I'm bored.
*surfs down staircase*
