Peter walked into the apartment after a brief patrol to hear beeping and shouting. And there was smoke. He rushed to the kitchen and asked, "Is everything okay?"

"Yes!" Zero said, looking somewhat like a teal deer caught in the headlights--or, you know, a monologue. "Everything's okay, everything's fine, why wouldn't everything be okay?"

At least part of the answer was that Zero usually said 'swerval' instead of 'okay.' The rest was all around them.
