So I'm asking you.

What is the best meal you've ever eaten? And where?Dessert is also considered a meal here

French Onion Soup in a tiny cafe surrounded by art galleries on a hill in Paris with good friends. Ironically, down the hill from it was the Red Light District.

Was it in a red house on a corner? Called Restaurant d'Ambassade or something like that?

In 1991 I went there with two friends and they had a three meal offer. Onion soup, chicken and then ice cream.

1997 I went there with hubby. They had exactly the same offer, except hubby got rabbit instead of the chicken. Still talks about it as the best meat he's had.

To tell you the truth, I don't remember what it was called. But it sounds like that, and I do remember it being in a red building.
