(no subject)
So classes seem to be going well. Yay for bookfinder.com which got me books for significantly cheaper than book store. I actually think that I will be able to manage all of my classes. Teaching Health should be fine and so should NC History. Internship will be good I am sure. Math Methods can't be too bad. I'm still stressed about Children's Literature. And completely dread Child Art, but it's for licensure so I have to take it.
Tried California Rolls today at the sushi place. They are good, but I like sesame chicken better. And sweet tea is wonderful.
Have an idea for my children's book. Writing a poem about a father who takes his child to a haunted house to prove monsters aren't real only to discover that they are. Thank you Ben for help with the idea. Have the first 4 or 5 stanzas written.
Roomate is good. We have pretty similar tastes and work habits which is wonderful. She's courteous. She likes movies. MOst of the time, we aren't in the room at the same time unless it is night.
Start internship tomorrow. It's just orientation type stuff, just noon until 2 or so. More orientation on Wednesday, only I have to be there between 7 and 7:15, so from then on Wednesday and Friday, it's up at 5:45 for me since I have at least a 1/2 hour drive. But we do get lunch brought in for us Wednesday which is really cool. Thomasville is excited to have us.
