I am totally capable of dealing with people I dislike in a polite manner.
THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WANT TO.
The super-conservative guy who pretty much cornered and harassed me last year is in my Acoustic Foundations of Music class, and an ex-friend of mine who I find to be incredibly fucking rude and bratty and self-centered is in my Critical Theory class. I'm more upset about the latter because I was so looking forward to that class and that professor and owning lives with my intellect and now I'm just like oh I have to see your stupid face three days a week, awesome! On the bright side, and this is going to sound arrogant but I so don't care, I am going to blow her out of the water in that class. We're both English majors but it was pretty well-established last year when we were friends that I was.. better at it? W/E W/E.
Also currently in Illinois visiting my mom and grandmother. It's so relaxing here. And we went to an animal shelter the other day where my mom is probably going to volunteer and I got to pet and play with puppies and oh my god that's pretty much all I want to do, all day err'day, right now. Sit and play with dogs. They were all nippy and sweet and adorable and licking my face and trying to bite my scarf and a;sldgjsdf I love dogs so much, I can't even.
