I really like the writer's excitement at getting to listen to DIABOLOS on his deadline. ^^
The main characters for the first chapter are the darkside inhabitants, while the second chapter revolves around the people who were created based on that.
^^ Now I want Chapter 2!!! XD Do you suppose he will put some of the beginning of Chapter 2 into the next next album too? I really hope so~ then we can really see the whole story come together.
I think it can raise the question as to the reason why we exist.
No one has made me think of the answer to that question more than Gackt has. ^^ And I agree with you that presenting his story through the vampires really is a brilliant and effective way to make people think about that. What do you think is the answer though? Obviously the answer is different for each person, but for Gackt and for this story, what would the answer be... I am always thinking that he is saying that the reason to exist, the reason to fight, is to protect those you love. And that is the feeling I get from the shito/vampires in this story too. Although they were originally created to fight for the sake of fighting, they found a greater purpose in life, which was to protect their nakama. Maybe I exist to protect someone too. ^^
And for me, the songs I sing that are limited to women only…… that’s a secret. (laughs)
XD I love that~ I am always trying to figure out which songs are for women only, and it's not easy. XD XD Remind me I wanted to talk to you about something related to that!
And that’s not the point, you can see both sides clearly precisely because there is intensity in the calmness; ephemerality in that intensity; and pain and beauty that accompanies the ephemerality.
That is so beautiful!! And it totally captures Gackt's music, doesn't it. His music is never just noisy because there are always those moments of, as he puts it, ephemerality, in even the rockiest songs.
XD I love how he tells the interviewer to sing Storm in karaoke!! XD XD
but the theme included is probably similar to the theme of “OASIS” and “dears”.
The connection to OASIS may be more obvious, but I felt the connection of Farewell to Dears very strongly during the lives....
