Everything To Everyone And Everything Else
(Based On A True Story.)
There once lived a girl. Let's call her "Megan."
Now this young girl was quite prone to daydreaming. One gloomy monday morning in her first class of the day, she was thinking about her dilemma. Her favorite band's new CD was coming out the next day, and she had no way to go buy it until the evening! A horrible crisis, true. But then! A brilliant idea struck her. Brilliant indeed, however, it would require a great stroke of luck. Megan's idea was to leave school during her fourth hour class, and go to buy the cd. But this would depend on one very lucky occurence. Her band teacher would have to be absent the following day.
Megan realized that in order for her idea to be carried out, she'd have to be extremely lucky. But she did not give up hope.
Just as if it were fate, in Megan's second hour class that monday, her band teacher announced that she would be out for a doctor's appointment on tuesday. "Yes, that's perfect!" thought Megan, as a great feeling of joy and happiness came over her.
From that moment forward, "brainstorming the idea" became "devising the plan." Megan and her good friend Jess worked together to formulate the exact details of the master plan.
And so the master plan was put into action today at precisely 11:00 am eastern standard time. It was perfectly successful! Decieving the sub and tipping off fellow classmates to the scheme went well, and the girls headed out of the school unnoticed.
At the store, they ran into one minor problem. The girls couldn't find the special DVD edition of the CD! But before long, they found it, and all was well again.
The moment they were back in the car and the CD was loaded into the CD player, the awesome sounds of the beautiful music that is Barenaked Ladies filled the girls' ears. They immediately fell in love with it!
And so Megan and Jess were ecstatic...overjoyed, delighted, thrilled, elated, content, blissful, and just plain happy. And they hence lived happily ever after.
The end.

I hope everyone enjoyed today's storytime! :D
...but I'm not obsessed. :D
So yeah. That was the master plan I mentioned the other day. :D
It's an "All-BNL Tuesday," folks!
I'm so happy with the CD. I have nothing to say about it, really, yet. Except that I have a strange fear that BNL are turning country...
So what's YOUR favorite song?
-Meggie :)
