Live Improvement Strategies and an Update

Feb 18, 2010 01:19

This is a record for me to come back to when I inevitably get slack and disorganised and lazy so I can see how I can re-motivate myself again.

- Joined South Sydney Freecycle on Yahoo Groups
- Reminded myself of how to decide what to keep and what to cull at Unclutter.com
- Was guided to some simple and free goal-setting software I want to try at Life Tick.com
- Found some helpful advice on how to live in a way I am happy with Aussies Living Simply
- Non-paraffin candles made in Australia

For my very clever knitting friends (and I know there are a few) Here is a link to local organic merino wool dyed in awesome colours that I think you'll love.

I really need to get my butt into gear and get my Visa debit card so I can order organic fruit and veg from Lettuce Deliver

*sighs* Ok that's enough of the exercising the brain trying to remember what little HTML I know.

I am happy to say that Canberra trip to see the Masterpieces From Paris is booked for next week. I am very happy about this. We just happen to be going the weekend of the Royal Canberra Show, which was at first an "oh crap!" but after thinking about it I have decided it will be awesome. We will get to see stuff we would like to see at the Sydney Easter Show but don't because it's ridiculously over-crowded. Not to mention that there will actually be something on in Canberra at night :P. It's also good because I can go see the Art and Craft pavilions and get my fix without us driving all the way to Braidwood.

Now I just have to write a zine by Monday and make and send my Dad's 60th Birthday invites in the few days we have before the trip - EASY! Did I mention I'm grocery shopping tomorrow night, catching up with a BFF on Friday and possibly doing a birthday party that night? Now I'm lunching tomorrow too (or dinner after grocery shopping).

It never rains...
