VLADA'S DISGUSTINGLY DISAPPOINTING DAY
1. Woke up late again. Apparently, my family members wake me up and i simply go back to sleep. I have no recollection of this, of course. This has been happening this past week. Yesterday, i completely slept through first period. Which, in turn, means that i am slowly developing a case of insanity.
2. Completed math quiz during... math class. Surprise! Jagoe repeatedly reminded everyone to turn their quizzes over because there were also questions on the back. She told us about five times. I think you know what i'm getting at. When Jagoe told us that time was up and we were to hand in our quizzes, i got up from my desk and noticed that there was writing on the back of my quiz. I didn't complete the other side! This wasn't because i forgot, either. It was because i went temporarily deaf. Or, see point #1: insanity.
3. Our math TIPS (Thinking/Inquiry & Problem Solving) was handed back today. Guess what i got? No, you couldn't possibly guess. This is my lowest mark so far in math, which really isn't saying much considering my math average is about a 72% right now, the lowest mark i've ever gotten on a report card. You know, i used to be confident in math - like last year, 96% on all tests. Well, i'll kill the suspense... i got 5 out of 14, which gives me a whopping 36%. McDonald's, here i come!
4. I set up a (second!) guidance meeting today. I arrived only to notice that Ms. Herman crossed out all her appointments and left a note lovingly saying Reschedule. First, Ms. Bootylicious stands me up, now Ms. Herman reschedules... maybe they see my name in the appointment book and run for the hills.
5. Due to my complete and utter lack of sleep, i did absolutely no work on my philosophy group project, disappointing all my group members who arrived with something done. It's due tomorrow. I'm sitting here writing this instead of working.
