wasaga day 02
okay, i'm at wasaga right now (2nd day) and my dad brought his laptop and found a router or something. so i can have a little computer time on the trip :) so far, we've just been swimming, which is nice. except i always look like a dork swimming because i have my goggles and noseclip :P but when i was packing, i realized that my brother lost my goggles, so i bought new ones today for $0.99, how wicked is that?
yesterday, yana came with her family :D i really wanted her to come, so i was very happy and we hung out, swam, and talked. it would be awesome if she could come again this week.
today, we spent the day at the beach. when i got out of the water, my dad told me that he saw marta with her parents. i didn't believe him at first (i thought he was mistaken), but surely enough, i saw marta. it was so awesome. we just spent the next couple hours together swimming, talking about tons of stuff, and my mom made us lunch. the weird thing is that i thought she'd would be there earlier that day. i don't even know why, just a feeling.
i burnt my cheeks, i guess i forgot to sunscreen my face, but i'm having a good time.
over the last week, i've sort of realized how close i am to all of my lj friends. i mean, the majority of you guys i don't know in person. and i don't know all of your stats and all. but still, if something comes up sometimes in a conversation, i bring you guys up. like "oh, this happened to this friend i have on the internet" and "oh, i have a friend who's been there." it weird but very nice. i mean, you guys probably know more about my secret thoughts than a lot of my friends. and i don't feel weird about that, you can give me advice and support without even being there. i guess this is a thanks, but in a less sappy kind of way :P
