Omg...I had such a lmao moment tonight...
Setting the scene, Tom Tom, in the bathtub. Me, down the hall.
Well back up a few hours. He comes in from school and sets this purple folded paper down on the computer desk. I think nothing of it. Go about my business.....fast forward now til tubby time.
Me: Tom Tom, who is Madison?
Tom Tom: My girlfriend. Oh man! Mom, I am supposed to call her tonight. Can I?
Me: (trying very hard not to lose it here...lol) Um, no. Not tonight. It's too late. Tell her I said so tomorrow.
Tom Tom: You and Maw Maw (my momma) better not even start singing, "Thomas and Madison sitting...."
Me: (Picking up right there in true mother fashion....) In a tree! K I S S I N G!!!
Tom Tom: Moooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmm. You two are really embarressing me..quit it...
Me: (almost doubled over from laughing so hard)
Now...this purple folded up paper....it's a "cell phone." This little girl took the time to fold this paper in to a cell phone shape, and why yes, it is a "flip phone," lmfao, colored the outside purple, and colored the inside two different colors. Drew numbers, wrote her name and her number and the words, "Call me."
Sigh...he's soooooo not dating until he's 20 years old.
