2008:A Year in Review
Holy shit.
I can not believe 2008 is almost over. This year..as much as it seemed like it dragged..went be so fucking fast.
I rang in the 2008 new year freezing cold sliding down a country club hill most likely illegally. That was one of the best news year I had. I also remember thinking what was going to happen for 2008. If I would succeed doing anything different, have new friendships, maybe even go back to school. I promised myself it would be better then 2007. Which it was. I had new challenges, new friendships, but failed to go back to school.
I will list some of the most memorable experiences this year.
-I got promoted..obviously this a pretty huge one. I started working at SFNE in 2004..and in 2008 I finally got promoted to leadership. I met some of the nicest people, and became close with a lot of people. I found out so much about myself then I could ever imagine.
-I went on my first "real" audition in NYC the begining of the year. If anything could have gone wrong that day, it did. My audition was horrible. I could not have been more nervous. Thank God I got that shit out my first audition..I have been a quite a few since then, and the auditions just keep getting better and better.
-I saw 3 amazing movies in the theatre. I got to see Batman:The Dark Knight opening night. I bought my tickets a week before..and it was just a very awesome experience. I went with a bunch of people who dressed up, and we got lots of pictures. It was fucking incredible..and my first midnight showing. I also saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Iron Man.
-I got to be apart of the Glow in the Park Parade. I realized how much I missed singing, and how I need to be doing it more, and how I really need to perform. That really opened my eyes and showed me that my purpose in life is to entertain.
-I got casted in a Webisode series..and actually got paid for it!! It was an awesome experience, and awesome to work with a really good friend. I hope to do it more in 2009.
-I voted for the first time ever!! I got involved and researched. It was really cool, and I happy that we finally have a good person in office.
..and thats all i can think of right now.
I hope for 2009, I get healthy and stay healthy in mind,body, and soul. I also hope by the end of 2009, I'll be living on a tour bus performing every night. I am welcoming 2009 with open arms.
