Think Twice [Chapter 13]

Chapter 13
Finally I felt so much better, I didn’t feel so down I felt more perky and more hyper like I had sugar for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even though I didn’t, wish I did though. On a plus side fall finally blew in, the summer was taking forever to finish, I was really happy, I love the cold whether.
“Yuuki hurry up we don’t have all day you know.” Ichigo yelled
“Yeah Yuuki.” Orihime yelled
I hurried up and put on my uniform with white stockings and black ankle boots. Ichigo and Orihime finally stood quite, it was funny for a moment, then I got curios. I quickly combed my hair and went down stairs.
I saw them quietly sitting on the sofa, Orihime next to Tatsuki and Ichigo by himself.
“From yelling to peaceful quite what is wrong with you 2.” I mumbled
“Come on were going to be late for school.” Orihime said
“Okay Okay.” I put on my black sweater and went outside.
No snow on the ground yet but there should be when I leave school today. I locked my door and followed everyone to school.
“Yuuki, we haven‘t had the chance to talk in awhile.” Orihime said looking over at me
“Yeah I know. I’m sorry but I’ve been busy for the last couple of weeks.” I said
“Yeah you’ve been missing class too.” Tatsuki added
“I know, the teachers know my excuse.” I said
“But we don’t.” Orihime said
“It’s nothing to big.” I lied
Actually it is something big, I was actually thinking about transferring, I wasn’t so sure on it but during the last few weeks I’ve been visiting different high schools around Tokyo. All of them are good and all but I’m not to sure I really want to leave Karakura just so that I can be closer to my aunt and uncle. All the schools I looked into gave me a scholarship, because of my grades, but I haven’t even filled out a application yet.
“Well as long as your not going to transfer then I guess I can’t make you say anything.” Orihime said with a smile
“Yeah.” I said with a slight stutter.
Ichigo nudged me and made me look at him, when I looked at him he gave me a look. A look I was sure that meant ‘we need to talk’. I swallowed hard and tried to take deep breathe even though it was still hard for me to.
“Yuuki have you gone to the doctor yet to get that paper filled out?” Tatsuki asked
I stopped in my tracks and felt like I couldn’t walk. That paper required blood test, there was no way I’m doing blood work.
“What paper?” I said acting clueless.
“You know the paper that was sitting on your living room table.” Ichigo said
“Shut up! I don’t know what your talking about.” I said walking faster slowly getting annoyed
“Oh come it won’t hurt it’s only 3 tubes of blood.” Tatsuki said
My eye started to twitch ever so slightly, these people are pure evil.
“Don’t tease her. She probably doesn’t even like getting poked with a super sharp needle.” Orihime said with a smirk
“You know what I’ll meet you guys at school.” I said heading back towards my house
“Why?” Ichigo asked me
“Cause I forgot my homework for math.” I said making up a lie.
“You have her after lunch you can go home during lunch.” Ichigo said taking my hand and dragging me back
I stood quite and went along with it, when we reached school I didn’t even feel like talking to anyone.
“Are you upset?” Ichigo asked me once we were alone
“No.” I said locking my locker
“Then what?” He asked
“Nothing.” I said
I walked towards my History class and opened the door. I handed the substitute the note and walked back out of the class.
“Wait your skipping class?” He asked stopping me
“No. It’s a note, I have to do something.” I said in a even tone.
“Yuuki. Are you transferring?” Ichigo asked me
“I don’t know yet.” I answered
“Why?”
“My Aunt wants me to live closer to her.” I said in a sad voice.
“And you want to leave?” Ichigo asked, has grip on my hand tightened
“No, that’s why I’m sorting it out with her.” I said
“Yuuki what’s going on in your head? I thought we sorted this out.” Ichigo said
“We did.” I said
The air around me felt dense. What is going?
“What is that Ichigo?” I asked
“Stay here.” He said as he let go of my hand headed to the track in the back of the school
“Wait Ichigo!” I yelled
I saw Ichigo’s body fall to the floor, but that wasn’t the only thing I saw. I saw Ichigo wearing some kind of black samurai armor.
“What the hell?!” I mumbled
I punched the body of Ichigo that was laying on the floor, he didn’t wake up or even move. I started to slowly panic, I tried to feel for his heart beat but felt nothing. I heard fighting going on outside, I got up off the floor and looked out the window. Ichigo was fighting some kind of black monster with a white mask, the body of a bug.
“Ichigo?” I said in a confused voice
“Yes that’s Ichigo.” a voice said
The voice sounded like the same voice that was in my house the other day when I had that nightmare. I looked back and saw this short girl with short black hair.
“The name is Rukia Kuchiki.” She said
“What is that thing?” I said pointing at the monster
“A hollow. Wait you can see it?” Rukia said
“Course I can see it, I’m not blind.” I said
“Hm, a gifted human.” She mumbled
“Which is the real Ichigo?” I asked looking passed her and saw the body on the floor
This is and always be weird, this felt more like a crime scene then it did a school hallway.
“They both are. The one outside fighting the hollow, is more like spirit Ichigo. Then one on the floor is just the body.” Rukia said clamly
“How can you be so damn clam during this situation?!” I said getting angry
“Cause I know Ichigo can handle this.” She said
“What is he going to do about the hollow?” I asked
Questions running through my mind, I had no freaking idea what was going on. None of this felt real more like a dream.
“Kill it. It’s his job as a soul reaper.”
“A what?” I said in a confused tone.
“A Soul reaper, Soul reapers have 2 basic duties. Cleansing the hollow or the bad spirits and the other is sending the good spirits to the Soul Society.” She said
“Uh huh, and I should believe that why? I mean I can see the hollow but what possible threat does it have to the humans and to the other supernatural beings?” I asked
“Like someone once told me seeing is believing. Hollows kill the souls that see wander around the world of the living, they feed on anything that has a sprit pressure. Basically anyone that can see them, that means you can either see them clearly or just like a faded image.” Rukia said as she looked at me.
“Then how did Ichigo become a soul reaper?” I asked
“That part was sort of my fault. He wanted to protect his family, I was down and I told him I’ll give him a bit of my power so that he can save his family. But when I stabbed him with my Zanpakto, a soul slayer in lay mans term, he took almost all my powers.” Rukia said looking out side watching Ichigo
“But if I can see Hollows does that mean I’m gifted?” I asked
“Well yes, but not all gifted humans have powers. They can see them and most likely get into a problem with a hollow.” She said
“Well how do I know if I have powers?” I asked
“Well you’ll know something was out of the ordinary.” Rukia said with a smirk.
I looked away from the fight and started to think about what was going on. I kept quite after awhile, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, it’s like some new world just opened up to me. Something that I should be really concerned about, though Rukia had answered the most basic question I was still curios.
“Rukia can you not replace her memory.”
“Alright, anything leaks out you’ll be in trouble.” Rukia said as she walked back to class.
“Ichigo?” I mumbled
“Yeah?” He answered
“Was that really you out there?” I asked
“Well, yeah.” Ichigo said rubbing the back of his head
“Why didn’t you tell me?” I asked as I looked into Ichigo’s brown eyes.
“Don’t turn this on me, I didn’t even know you can see souls until you told me about your visions.” Ichigo said
“My visions are nothing compared to this. So what if I can see visions and pieces of what’s going to happened.” I said
“Wait. You didn’t tell me you can see glimpses of what’s going to happen.” Ichigo said with a hint of confusion in his voice
“I didn’t mean it like that I meant that I can see the past more clearly.” I said correcting myself
Ichigo gave me a weird look, it seemed like he didn’t trust what I was saying. What I said was true I didn’t see the future I saw the past super clearly.
“Yuuki, tell me the truth.” Ichigo said
“I am.” I said making my hands into fist
“It doesn’t look that way.” Ichigo said with a sigh.
“It’s just a lot to take in.” I said
Ichigo took my hands into his and looked at me. I know he wanted to know what I was thinking but I need time to take this all in.
“Look I need to get to class.” I said taking my hands out of Ichigo’s

I walked down the hall and into the guidance office for some paper for transfer
