Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Mine was excellent and very blessed.

I traveled with my parents and Christopher criostoir to my grandparents who live in Texas (Atlanta, TX to be exact, it's near Texarkana (sp?)). Most of my Dad's side of the family either live there or like Fort Worth or Dallas, TX. Since my Dad is one of four children who all have two children who several of those have children by now and spouses we had almost 30 people there for the festivities. It was great to be around all of the family and to get to spend that time with Christopher meant so much to me! Everyone said they really liked Chris, which means a ton since in my family you say what you think and only what you really mean, so if they had not really cared for him they would have either said so or said nothing at all about it. The only sad part of the whole adventure was that Carl, my brother, wasn't there, I really missed him.

We had a turkey, smoked ham, and pork roast... along with all the sides you could probably think of and my pumpkin pie that everyone loved. We all cooked, cleaned and just hung out together. It was so much fun. We even got to be kids again and spend time jumping on a big trampoline and playing spoons (a card game that's sort of like musical chairs for those of you that have never heard of it).

Chris and I took a couple of walks in nature/forest and it was nice to just get to be out in God's almost untouched creation and spend quality time together.

A couple of the kids really latched on to Chris and I and it was hard to turn around without them by our side. They were so cute and lots of fun most of the time, so we didn't mind at all.

All in all it was a good time to be had by all, and there will be some pictures posted as soon as I have more time free from school.
