The Changes Begin...
Time keeps ticking by and all of the changes are now taking shape.
Chris and I had our couples wedding shower for friends and family on this past Saturday (7-15-06), and it went really well. We had a good turn out and lots of fun. It was good to see everyone as well. We received a lot of our registry items along with other great gifts. We are now trying to find places to put everything, which is always a good problem to have ;) I am so grateful to everyone who chipped in to make the day happen, so thanks everyone :) I would list names but I don't want to leave anyone out, plus I'm not sure I know who all did what, so just know that for those who did little or lots thanks for your time and effort!
The first major change came the next day (Sunday) when Chris and I along with the much needed help of our fathers moved almost everything I own over to Chris' and moved out many things to make room for all of my things which are now our things. So I now have my clothes, a bed, dresser, bathroom things, tv and stand, and two camping chairs in my apartment. Everything else is at Chris', including my baby, Casper (my cat). So I have to adjust to not having Casper with me at night, and Chris and Casper have to adjust to being roommates. I'm not sure yet who, Casper or Chris, is going to have the hardest time adjusting to the other. Chris seems like he may get the award since Casper has lived with people before, but Chris has never lived with a cat. I'm sure we will all be one happy adjusted family soon! (We're already happy, just working on the adjustment part.) Thank you Dad and soon to be Dad (Chris' dad) for all your help!!
So that's the newest info on me. Only 19 more days 'til Chris and I become one, and many more changes and adventures begin :)
